From the terminal, you can follow along a cobblestone path lined in blue color for ease of navigation. There are also “blue shirts” to assist you along the 20- to 30-minute walk. The brave young men of Mazatlán participate in the sport of cliff diving. Brave cliff divers leap from the 50-foot tower of El Clavadista. Its bright white stands out from the gray rock face and the blue of the seas and sky. Fishing is one of the main industries here, and Mazatlán has Mexico’s second largest fishing fleet.
